about

It's So Hard To Make Friends is an album of songs written by British Songwriter Josh Herring after moving to Copenhagen in 2018. The songs are about moving – to a new country, where you try to make new friends, whilst remembering the old ones, and the family, and lovers you left behind. Together they explore different moods and attitudes surrounding friendship and relationships, often in an amusingly direct way.

The album was recorded by Sam Grant in December 2019 at Blank Studios in Newcastle, UK. Sam is the producer for Richard Dawson and his own band, Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs.
